Issues to be discussed for next GSIM revision from GSIM Virtual Sprint (23-24 Jan. 2019)

  1. Business Group regarding Statistical Program, Statistical Program Design, Statistical Program Cycle, Statistical Support Program need to be looked at again (see Issue #2-29), especially, in light with alignment of overarching processes in GSBPM and GAMSO
  2. Time frame type analysis: there are time-relevant attributes in Administrative Details (Release Date, Termination Date, Valid From, Valid To..) - need to look at them (see Issue #2-23 10-f/g)
  3. How do we manage controlled vocabularies in GSIM? Do we leave it open so that individual organizations can implement it their own way? Do we want to use controlled vocabularies from other existing standards? Do we want to suggest a list of required entries that can be extended? (see Issue #2-23 10-c)

Other remaining issues..

  1. Role has now 5 sub-types, Information Consumer and Information Provider (in Exchange group) and three new objects added during revision (Owner, Contact and Maintainer in Base group). Will there be sufficient international agreement on these roles or would it be more strategic to keep them fuzzy as in GSBPM and just say that every organisation can create as many sub-types of Role as they need in their own organisation (Jenny)?

  2. Sign and Code Values were removed (issue #50), but explanatory text of Designation is still "The association of a Concept with a sign that denotes it". 

  3. Following attributes don't have description (see table below)

  4. There is no text nor arrow between Concept and Node and Concept and Node Set - do we not need? 

  5. There is no text describing relation between Agent In Role and Agent - do we not need one?
