The current explanatory text for Attribute Component is

"For example the publication status of an observation (e.g. provisional, final, revised)"

Could we remove 'publication'? It seems uncomfortable together with 'observation' although this might be possible for dimensional data.

On the other hand, if it has in fact been 'observed' how can it be provisional or revised? Would measurement be better than observation? 

Please come up with a better example.

    Additional examples provide by David Barraclough:

    • the embargo time (at which point the observation will be made publicly available)
    • the base period of the data in the series
