| Definition | Marital status is defined as the legal conjugal status of each individual in relation to the marriage laws or customs of the country, i.e. Never married (Single), Married, Widowed and not remarried, Divorced and not remarried. In some countries the legal status of separated also exists and persons of this group are included here in the group of married. |
| Определение | Семейное положение определяется как юридический семейный статус каждого отдельного лица относительно брачного права (или обычаев) в стране; т.е: холостой(ая) (т.е. никогда не состоявший(ая) в браке); состоящий в браке; овдовевший(ая) и не вступивший(ая) в повторный брак; разведенный(ая) и не вступивший(ая) в повторный брак.
