  • to review the progress and products produced by the five work streams

Ideas for future work were further discussed (i.e. consolidating existing materials, developing targeted communication material, linking GSIM objects as input/output of GSBPM, overarching processes in GAMSO and GSBPM).

The harmonisation of terminology in the different standards was discussed, particularly the alignment of the terms "Activity", "Process" and "Capability". The definitions worked out  by the Metadata Glossary were considered good.  As a future activity, the Metadata Glossary team could work on the common terms appear in multiple models (how they are defined, which one to use, etc.).

GSIM Review

Work is on progress but there are still few outstanding work areas. The revised version would be circulated for global consultation in July.

GSBPM Review

The team has almost concluded the revision of GSBPM. The team agrees that GSBPM is less survey centric after this review. Still some work is needed to improve the wording on geospatial. The revised version will be circulated for global consultation by end of June.

Ontology Work
