Central Statistical Office of Poland highly appreciates the proposal of GAMSO model. In our opinion it is the first generic model which takes into account area of corporate support covering issues like finance management and human resources management. We think that it is essential and obvious that performance of statistical tasks requires organisational, financial and human resources support. It is also an attempt to indicate that statistical organisations cover not only area of statistical production but also other, supportive areas without which statistical production process could not be carried out. Although GSBPM standard has not been fully implemented in CSO of Poland, we try to use some selected elements coming from this standard in our modernisation activities.
We also think that integration of the ESS EARF with the GAMSO should be taken into consideration at the ESS level.
