EESW19, the sixth biennial European Establishment Statistics Workshop, will be hosted by EUSTAT, the statistical office of the Basque Country. Continuing in the traditions of its preceding five events, EESW19 is devoted to furthering the understanding of topics in designing, collecting, analysing and using statistics about and for businesses and other organisational entities. EESW19 is aiming to continue to be a prime European venue for official statistics methodologists, academic researchers and private sector professionals in the fields of business, economic and other areas of establishment statistics to exchange experiences, share new methods and findings, learn from each other, and create opportunities for deeper collaboration.


Location:

Bizkaia Aretoa Building, Avenida Abandoibarra 3, Bilbao, the Basque Country, Spain  

Time:

Short courses start on the morning of September 24 (Tuesday). An informal gathering is contemplated for Tuesday evening.

Workshop will run from the morning of September 25 (Wednesday) through approximately lunchtime of September 27 (Friday).

Three full-day short courses address data collection, statistical editing and machine learning. Early bird fees for short courses apply until May 15, 2019.
