- Brief analysis of survey results pertaining to the section, focusing on any implications for things that might need to change in the Recommendations.
- Excel files with extracts relating to these sections are in sharepoint folder previously shared by email.
- Full Excel file of all responses and individual country responses are here. Contact Fiona for any access issues.
- No need for complex analysis or lengthy text: focus on frequency tables and take-home messages.
- Deadline for first draft , final draft following Steering-Group review of all sections .
- Suggest revisions to the text of the 2020 Recs
- Based on analysis above; on any known changes e.g. in global or regional statistical standards/guidelines, classifications, external references, accepted terminology etc since last edition; and on your knowledge of policy need and user demand.
- Try to make text more concise and easy for non-native readers to follow where possible.
- Flag to Fiona in advance any potentially controversial suggestions or things requiring debate among the Steering Group.
- See important points in the Chairing Guide under section 2.3. 'Structuring your submission'. Fiona will work with you on ensuring all the pieces meet these criteria.
- Deadline .
- Make note of what changes are made and why, to serve as record of our decision-making for the future.
