In preparation for the workshop on Human Resources Management and Training, 14 - 16
September 2010, the UNECE Secretariat was asked by the Organizing Committee to collect
information on human resources management in the National Statistical Offices (NSO).
The information was used to help identify issues and problems in HR management and
served as input to the discussion.
The following surveys were conducted for the 2010 workshop:
Human Resources Management Concept (HRMC)
Contains information on HRMCs, how they are used and what their content is.

Staff Turnover Survey
The "Questionnaire on Staff Turnover" solicited information on staff turnover, including
reasons why (young) staff members leave, and measures to solve possible problems with
rapid turnover of young staff members.
