The Clickable SDMX interface provides an interactive way to navigate the SDMX Information Model (SDMX IM)2.1 [1]. The work was inspired by the Clickable GSIM documentation that is used to make GSIM much easier to understand and navigate.

Clickable SDMX presents the SDMX artefacts and their relationships through an interface that allows an interactive, user-friendly navigation[2].

There are two sets of diagrams. The table below shows the "Simplified diagrams" for a general overview of the SDMX IM containing only the main SDMX artefacts and their groupings. The Detailed Diagrams page shows all of the SDMX artefacts and their relationships which presents a complete overview of the SDMX IM.

In Clickable SDMX, the artefacts are grouped depending on their roles and relationships inside the information model. Groups and their artefacts are distinguished by different colors which are shown in the left-hand column of the diagram tables.

The diagrams in Clickable SDMX are based on the UML (Unified Model Language) language. To have a short description on how the UML is used in the diagrams select the item "A short guide on UML for SDMX IM".

Simplified Diagrams

Item Schemes

Represents the relations between Datasets, Dataflows and Data Structure Definition, shows the components that are related with the Data Structure Definition and their specificity

Data Structure Definitions and Datasets

Represents the SDMX artefacts that are defined as Items (e.g. codes and categories) and the related grouping artefacts (e.g code list and category scheme)

Metadata Structure DefinitionRepresents the main artefacts used to define the structure for reference metadata

Metadata Set

Represents the artefacts and relationship with the Metadata Set

Data provisioningIncludes main classes and relationships to support the provisioning of data by a data provider
